Meet the Presidents

Twelve presidents. Twelve campuses.

FSA's board is the twelve Student Body Presidents of the State University System, led each year by a Chair and two Vice-Chairs, Internal and External.

Written into the Constitution

The only student in the room where the System is governed.

Under Article IX of the Florida Constitution, the President of the Florida Student Association serves as a full member of the Florida Board of Governors, making FSA's chair the only student in the room where the State University System is governed.

Fla. Const. Art. IX § 7(d) · Fla. Stat. § 1001.70

Protecting the scholarships and aid programs that keep a degree within reach for every Floridian.

Student Mental Health

Sustained funding for counseling centers and crisis services on every campus.

Campus Safety

Modern infrastructure, lighting, and emergency systems across the System's twelve campuses.

Textbook & Course-Material Costs

Open educational resources and transparent pricing to cut the hidden costs of a degree.

Every Session

Rally in Tally.

Each legislative session, students from all twelve universities travel to Tallahassee to lobby the Legislature directly. Past speakers include the Mayor of Tallahassee and members of the Board of Governors.

While the Boards make decisions they believe are in the best interest of students, we are the student voice, and it is our responsibility to advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves.
